May 14, 2013 Dear Parents,
If you have been affiliated with Blessed Sacrament School for a number
of years, you will remember Mrs. Anne Fernandez (Lawless). She taught First Grade for over 35 years.
Mrs. Fernandez passed away yesterday. Her funeral arrangements are pending.
Please pray for her and her family.
There will be a $1.00
Dress Down Day tomorrow, Wednesday, in support of our Pre-K teacher, Mrs. Sarah
Ortiz and the Lupus Foundation. If
possible, the students are asked to wear something purple.
The students raised $1,749.31 for the Leukemia
Lymphoma Society. Thank you to Sister
Janetta for organizing and running the campaign. She is a big reason for its success.
Thank you to the families who have already responded to the mandatory Bell Tower Raffle.
The school will attend 8:30 Mass on Wednesday, May 22. We will have a May Crowning immediately after
Mass. Parents are invited to attend with
their children.
There will be an indoor Carnival on Friday
May 17th. Rides and games
are $1.00 each. Students in Grades 1-8 may wear their gym uniform and sneakers.
